Electric Strings

What size do you use electric cords and why?
In addition, this type of music do you prefer to play with each type of gauge? I Regular Slinkys most.
0009 Hey There I use Ernie balls for all rocks mainly of heavy music, etc. .. records. I use on my old 0010 Les Paul 1963 for a sense of jazz and blues sound more gutsy. I prefer 0009 on my Jackson because he resoponds better on Premium and secondly, for the guitar sweeps and arpeggios for the use of the van before. Finally, it is easier on the neck in the long term and no chance of warping the neck and intonation issues.

Reich: Different Trains, Electric Counterpoint / Kronos Quartet, Pat Metheny $11.11 Different Trains (1988) will probably go down in history as Reich’s masterpiece. And deservedly so. Reich’s phase-shifting minimalism is made dazzlingly entertaining in Different Trains, which is scored for string quartet and digitally sampled voices that repeat bits of speech concerning trains and Reich’s experience with them growing up. The sinister part here is than some trains carried Jews… |

Black Angels $8.00 The title to Kronos’s most bleak album comes from a nearly 20- minute-long composition by American composer George Crumb that unfolds over 13 distinct parts. That ominous number only hints at the horror Crumb intended as an ode to the Vietnam War. War informs the whole CD: Shostakovich’s Quartet No. 8, composed near the height of the Cold War, in 1960, was dedicated “to the victims of fascism and … |
